Overview
The Wine + Art Walk is an annual event that promotes & brings awareness to the art district that makes San Marcos unique. One of the key features of this event are the art stops along the route; local artists display their work, and participants are given the opportunity to create their own art. In the process of planning this event we decided to go with an interactive art stop that engages people more in the event.

Here's a look into the process of creating the interactive art stop. The mermaid is an iconic symbol of San Marcos which is why we chose this design. It was a very effective stop in the sense that people who saw it spread the word as well as brought other people to have fun with it. This truly became a community art piece.
